First of all, it took nearly five minutes to get them to even understand what we were talking about when we requested information about their gluten free menu/food. There's no gluten-free menu per se, just a half dozen or so items they are willing to cook without any sauce.

Needless to say the dishes prepared this way are utterly without flavor. They claimed to use a gluten-free soy sauce as seasoning but it just seemed like a bunch of steamed vegetables and rice or noodles. We ordered the noodle dish, the lettuce wraps, and fried rice. It was all tremendously disappointing

There is nothing special about Beijing. I'm not sure why it's listed here, since any hole in the wall Chinese take-out in Philadelphia will serve you basically any menu item without sauce.

When will Philly get a Chinese restaurant with a REAL gluten-free menu, a la Lili's in NYC??Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4434432016668973077.post-56796938545616377682010-07-16T10:29:11.381-04:002010-07-16T10:29:11.381-04:00Those Mi-Del s'mores look delicious.
