From the West Coast to University City in West Philadelphia comes Wahoo's Tacos & More (3180 Chestnut St., 267-737-9876), where tacos and enchiladas can be made with corn tortillas. The currently available proteins - chicken, pork, steak and fish - are gluten free, though the tortilla chips are cooked in a shared fryer.

Nearly the entire menu is or can be made gluten free at the newly minted SouthHouse in South Philly (2535 S. 13th St., 267-457-3682). Look for drunken onion soup (made with cider and gluten-free bread), salads, tacos and sandwiches.

Gluten-free pizza and pasta are available at Cafe Sitaly in Wilmington (1710 Naamans Rd., 302-475-1120). The pasta is boiled in separate water and the pizzas are made with dedicated ingredients and baked on its own screen.

The entire raw bar and other appetizers at 3rd & Ferry Fish Market in Easton (56 S. 3rd St., 610-829-1404) is gluten free, as are entrees like poached haddock, filet mignon and crab legs. All sides including fries (from a dedicated fryer) are gluten free as well, and Strongbow hard cider is available on tap. Special dietary requests are prepared separately.

South Philly Italian restaurant The Saloon (750 S. 7th St., 215-627-1811) has gluten-free pasta on the menu, prepped in fresh water. Ditto for Spasso Italian Grill in Old City (34 S. Front St., 215-592-7661) and Media (1 W. State St., 610-565-7803).

If you're celebrating Hanukkah next week, you'll find that Streit's Potato Pancake Latkes Mix is now gluten free. (Thanks to Cheryl F. for the tip.)

As I reported earlier this week, Wegmans now has an assortment of fresh gluten-free treats in the Bakery departments of all stores, from brownies and snickerdoodle cookies to cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies. All of the products are made in a gluten-free bakery.
