Cue the Q

For years, only friends and family were able to enjoy Bill Fehon's homemade sweet and tangy barbeque sauce. However, after Bill was diagnosed with a form of dementia in 2009, he wasn't able to make his sauce. To honor Bill, his family decided to bottle his recipe and donate proceeds to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration.

Both the Original and Spicy versions of Bill's Best Organic BBQ Sauces include ingredients made by companies located within 100 miles of the company's Bryn Athyn, Montgomery County headquarters: South Jersey's Chelten House supplies the organic ketchup; the butter comes from Natural By Nature in West Grove, Pennsylvania; and the onions and garlic are grown at Landisdale Farm in Jonestown, Pennsylvania.

The gluten-free sauces are sold at markets and natural foods stores throughout the Delaware Valley, including the Pennsylvania General Store at Philadelphia's venerable Reading Terminal Market and at Food For All Market in Mt. Airy. (A complete store listing is posted at the company website.) They're also available online at Amazon.com.

  1. This is by far my favorite BBQ Sauce of all time! I love to buy it and give it as gifts to people (and of course I use it whenever I have the chance).

In hindsight, I feel honored to have been part of the small circle who could enjoy Bill's craft. As a kid, I would get in trouble for using too much, because once it was gone, it was gone! (At least until the next batch)

Now, however, I can use as much as I want as often as I want and there is always more!

Congratulations to the Fehons for their marketing and success in bringing this fantastic concoction into wider circulation.
