Crunchmaster is introducing two new gluten-free products. A line of Protein Snack Crackers will be available in Sea Salt, Roasted Garlic and Barbeque flavors, while the Tuscan Peasant cracker range come in Simply Olive Oil and Sea Salt, Garlic & Italian Herb, and Rosemary flavors, Crunchmaster will add three flavors to its existing Multi-Seed and Multi-Grain lines: Multi-Seed Artisan Cheesy Garlic Bread, Multi-Seed Signature Buttermilk Ranch and Dill, and Multi-Grain Applewood Smoked Barbeque. This fall, look for Crunchmaster’s Pumpkin Harvest cracker.


Crunchmaster's sister brand Harvest Stone will add Sprouted Hummus and Sprouted Native Grains varieties to its line. The new products include Sprouted Hummus in Roasted Garlic, Sprouted Hummus in Taste of Za’atar, Sprouted Native Grains in Simply Olive Oil and Salt, and Sprouted Native Grains in Peruvian Aji Amarillo.

Naturally gluten-free Truly Spiked & Sparkling hard seltzer announced the launch of its newest style, Lemon & Yuzu, now available nationwide. The new variety features the trendy Japanese fruit known as yuzu.

Starbucks this week debuted its gluten-free breakfast sandwich, which features cherrywood-smoked Canadian bacon, a peppered egg patty and reduced-fat white cheddar cheese on a gluten-free roll. It is prepared in a certified gluten-free environment and sealed into its own oven-safe parchment bag to avoid cross-contamination. The majority of U.S. stores are offering the sandwich. Participating stores are also carrying gluten-free Goodie Girl Mint Slims cookies.

The Philadelphia outpost of Max Brenner (1500 Walnut St., 215-344-8150) notes gluten-free options on its menu: five salads and a chicken dish. The chocolate fondue is also gluten free.

Deptford's Adelphia Restaurant (1750 Clements Bridge Rd., 856-845-8200) also lists gluten-free items on its expansive menu. Gluten-free rolls are available, as is Angry Orchard hard cider.

Firebirds' Glazed Grilled Salmon
Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, with area locations in Chadds Ford and Collegeville, Pennsylvania, Moorestown, New Jersey and Newark, Delaware, has introduced its new Spring Features menu featuring several gluten-free options. Those selections include Spring Asparagus with roasted tomatoes, onions and parmesan, Tequila Glazed Grilled Salmon Salad with grilled corn, black beans, pumpkin seeds and goat cheese tossed with kale, Vegetable Chopped Salad with asparagus, grilled corn, edamame, grape tomatoes, cucumbers and kale, and Tequila Glazed Grilled Salmon with spring asparagus and warm kale. All Spring menu items are available now through May 2.

The Rachel Way gluten- and dairy-free food pantry has organized a benefit dinner at Coyote Crossing in Conshohocken on Tuesday, May 23. The menu for the gluten-free buffet includes Five-Layer Dip, Guacamole & Corn Tortilla Chips, Carnitas Tacos, Veggie Tacos, Chicken Quesadillas, Drowned Flautas, Grilled Eggplant and Shrimp Ceviche. Tickets can be purchased online for $35.

Tickets are now on sale for the Greater Philly Gluten-Free Expo, which is scheduled for Saturday, May 20 in Oaks, Pennsylvania. Details and the ticket link can be found in Tuesday's post.
